Who are you and what do you do?
I am Malachi, I sing and play the Guitar.
Why does it matter?
Well, it’s [music] how I feel, how I emote, how I express myself.
When did you realize performing was what you wanted to do?
When I was 15 and I saw a friend of mine perform at a coffee shop and thought it was an amazing, really cool thing to do.
Do you remember what it was like in the beginning?
Awful, I was terrible, I played way too loud and I didn’t look at the audience at all, but I had a lot of fun.
What is your dream performance?
I want to be able to banter with the audience and have them laugh.
Which living person do you most admire?
Probably my Dad, I have come to understand him a lot more as I have gotten older.
Which living person do you most despise?
I don’t despise a lot of people…
What is the quality do you most like in a man?
A sense of what is right and wrong.
What is the quality do you most like in a woman?
A sense of humor.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I once opened a combination lock at random without knowing the combination, it seemed so implausible and because one other person saw so I knew that it actually happened.
What is your favorite word?
What is your least favorite word?
What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally?
An interesting or particularly well-spoken phrase.
What turns you off?
What is your favorite curse word?
Either Fuck or Damn.
What sound or noise do you love?
Wind through the trees.
What sound or noise do you hate?
A metal spoon against a ceramic bowl.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Some kind of professional gardening; I have always liked gardening.
What profession would you not like to do?
Anything working with livestock.
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
