Who are you and what do you do?

Singer/song writer, guitarist, bassist, ONE MAN BAND!

Why does it matter?

I’m putting together an album called Die In Tombstone with country, folk & hard rock themes. Independently produced and financed.

When did you realize performing was what you wanted to do?

When I was 5 years old.

 

Do you remember what it was like in the beginning?

I didn’t actually start playin’ guitar until 2 years ago at the age of 37. It was really hard and it still is!

What is your dream performance?

I want to play a show with some local Tucson bands (Deschtuco or Bruja & the Coyote or somebody cool) on a nice stage like Congress or Flycatcher.

Which living person do you most admire?

My wife, Janet Smith. she’s the love of my life and a source of endless inspiration.

Which living person do you most despise?

Donald Trump

What is the quality do you most like in a man?

Absolute refusal to give up.

What is the quality do you most like in a woman?

Generosity.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My 6 year old daughter, Anabelle. She is the sweetest smartest lil’ girl ever.

What is your favorite word?

It starts with F.

What is your least favorite word?

Cannot.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally?

Seeing someone show another person a kindness.

What turns you off?

Prejudice.

What is your favorite curse word?

Its starts with an F.

What sound or noise do you love?

Guitar.

What sound or noise do you hate?

Silence.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Um. Professional sound engineer? Yea. That.

What profession would you not like to do?

Nurse.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

Just that he would call me “son.”
