Who are you and what do you do?

Hi! I’m Nicholas Salyer, director and producer of Misogynistic Shoes 👠by Gavin Kayner starring Amanda Baumler and Jim Granger!

Why does it matter?

Sexism has not gone away.

When did you realize performing was what you wanted to do?

When I was about 5 and dancing 💃ballet in my family living room while directing plays and making movies with anything our imaginations would create!

Do you remember what it was like in the beginning?

FUN!

What is your dream performance?

Every opportunity to be s part of the theatre 🎭is a dream performance!

Which living person do you most admire?

I admire my family and friends very much!

Which living person do you most despise?

There are several!

What is the quality you most like in a person (man or woman)?

Empathy.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

All the awesome people I’ve met throughout my life is a most excellent feeling!

What is your favorite word?

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

What is your least favorite word?

!#%,<?!

What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally?

THE THEATRE!

What turns you off?

A lack of theatre.

What is your favorite curse word?

Snugglesaurus.

What sound or noise do you love?

Deftones.

What sound or noise do you hate?

Loud chewing!

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Playwright.

What profession would you not like to do?

God.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
